Ambassador Committee

The Ambassador Committee welcomes new members to our organization. They serve as liaisons for new and existing members and often act as host/hostess at membership events.

Committee members exchange ideas for improving the visibility of the Chamber and for keeping NAACCC members and the public informed about the activities of the Chamber. The committee also contributes to the design of marketing materials for prospective members.

The Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce formed its Education Committee to assist the Anne Arundel County Public and Private School systems through direct partnerships with business. The mission of the Chamber's Education Committee is to provide the resources needed to produce a skilled pool of highly trained potential employees that will assist in attracting, expanding, and keeping viable businesses in Anne Arundel County. Financial Review Committee

Performs regular overviews of Chamber financial transactions.


Legislative Committee

Representation on County, State, and Federal legislative issues. Reviews pending legislation, establishes the Chamber's Annual Legislative Agenda and lobbies on behalf of Northern Anne Arundel County's business community.


Marketing Committee

Membership Awareness and Retention Committee (MARC)

Works with the CEO and the Ambassadors Committtee to provide optimal benefits to NAACCC members. MARC encourages new members to become actively involved in Chamber programs.

The Chamber Technology Committee (CTC) exists to assist Chamber members, staff, and executive board with any issues pertaining to technology. It is an informational resource for those needing objective advice, and a networking opportunity for participants.

Educational Excellence Awards Dinner

The dedication of local educators who serve as outstanding examples to their students and the community at large are applauded at this annual event. Local businesses show their support by sponsoring the award recipients who receive awards and citations from elected officials and representatives of the Anne Arundel County School System.

Presidential Gala

The Chamber’s incoming president is officially sworn into office at this formal evening event featuring cocktails, tantalizing food presentations, entertainment and games of chance. Guests use “funny money” winnings to bid for exciting prizes at a live auction.

Community Safety Awards

Members of the business community and local residents have the opportunity to recognize the selfless dedication and outstanding performance of the men and women who enrich the quality of life in Northern Anne Arundel County.

Community Chamber Day

The business-to-community event is held under the big tent in the Glen Burnie Town Center. Businesses showcase their goods and services, restaurants give tastings of their signature dishes, and children enjoy the activities and games in the Kids Korner.
