Mission Statement

The mission of the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee is to serve as a link between the education community and businesses to actively support quality education and to provide a well-trained workforce in the Northern Anne Arundel County area.

The Education Committee is dedicated to facilitating the ongoing relationship between the business and education communities.  No issue is more all-encompassing or demanding than the issue of workforce development.  Therefore, through this committee, we are working to build positive relationships between the Anne Arundel County  Board of Education, Anne Arundel Community College, Anne Arundel County Workforce Development Corporation  and local businesses to tackle workforce development issues and promote public awareness of the important contribution education makes in our community and on our quality of life.

Legislative Committee Print

Throughout the 2009 Legislative Session, the Northern Anne Arundel Legislative Committee will be working hard to keep you informed about what's happening in Annapolis. 

This is a fully engaged committee that takes proactive stances on state legislation that may impact local businesses and the economy. Each year, this committee  reviews pending legislation and take the appropriate action on behalf of business interest .   This may include rising cost of healthcare, public infrastructure, land-use and development, the environment, and taxes/fees.

NAACCC is highly respected by elected and appointed officials at all levels of Government, and is continually contacted by legislators for input on pending and proposed legislation impacting the business community.

You are welcome to attend the Legislative Committee meetings on the first and third Wednesday of each month at Panera Bread on Ordinance Road.  The meetings begin at 8:00 a.m.
